A: Most of our clients are based in the US and Canada.
A: We utilize AutoCAD and SolidWorks for engineering tasks.
A: Yes, we do follow those standards if the client requires that.
A: We work with both metric and imperial units, depending on our client’s requirements.
A: Clients receive PDF files by default, allowing them to print the drawings as needed. Upon request, we provide the original engineering files to our clients at no additional cost. This empowers our clients to make revisions or edits themselves or keep them for archiving purposes.
A: Warranty lengths vary depending on the project type. For engineering projects, it is determined by the specific agreements in place. Our products typically come with a one-year warranty.
About Custom Tools and Products
A: Engineering can be undertaken either by clients or by Milteca.
A: Yes, clients can provide any relevant materials to Milteca to communicate their needs. This may include product samples, photos, formal engineering drawings, rough sketches, digital data, and more.
A: Engineering provides detailed and precise information about custom tools and products, including materials, dimensional tolerances, technical requirements, and other critical details. This information significantly impacts the cost of custom tools and products. Hence, we issue separate quotations for engineering and fabrication. These quotations cannot be combined into one, and we are unable to provide a fabrication quotation until the engineering phase is completed.
About Payment
A: Clients have several payment options available to them:
Option 1: e-Transfer
Clients with Canadian bank accounts can send payments via e-Transfer from their Canadian bank account to Milteca at acct@milteca.com.
Option 2: Credit Card/Debit Card
Clients can use their credit card or debit card to make a payment. Simply click on the shopping cart icon on our website or follow the link provided in our email.
Option 3: Mail a Check
Clients can send us a check via regular mail to our office address:

A: Our payment policy requires a 50% down payment, with the remaining balance due upon completion of the fabrication and before shipment.
A: We accept both US dollars and Canadian dollars (CAD). For other currencies, the amount will be converted to CAD based on the latest exchange rate.
